What did Jesus mean when He said, "You are the salt of the earth" and "You are the light of the world"?
In this message, we examine the purpose of salt in biblical times and why Jesus used it as a picture of the believer's life. Just as salt preserves, purifies, and adds flavor, Christians are called to make a difference in the world. But when we allow sin and compromise to shape us, we begin to lose our influence and our witness.
We'll also look at what it means to be the light of the world. Darkness never overcomes light—light simply shines. As followers of Christ, we are called to boldly reflect His love and truth so that others may see our lives and glorify our Heavenly Father.
